Takako moved from Okinawa, Japan to Los Angeles when she was a child and started working with flowers as a teenager at her brother's renowned flower shop, Paul's Unique Creations. With decades of experience as a floral designer, she has decorated countless Hollywood events including the Golden Globes and Emmys, as well as celebrity homes in Los Angeles.

Here in Honolulu, she was engaged as manager/design director at a wedding company and produced many floral creations for clients. Full of experience and passion for beauty and flowers, she launched her dream design company, HALU LLC in 2018 to share her love of floral design with others. Creating exceptional events that tantalize all of your senses is my specialty and my passion!-
