Minnepau Veterinary Clinic

Our welcoming veterinary staff is eager to help you and your pet with your animal care needs. Dr. Starke Mueller moved to Saint Anthony Park in 2014, three years after completing his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota.

It didn't take long before he fell in love with the community and invested in a plot of land next to the Hampden Coop with plans to open a veterinary clinic and to help his four-legged neighbors and their caregivers.Minnepau Veterinary Clinic was founded with a dream to help people by caring for and healing their animals in the community where he lives with his wife and four children.

Minnepau is a small animal veterinary clinic established in 2020 in the Saint Anthony Park neighborhood of Saint Paul. Our health center provides routine preventative care for healthy pets, sick calls, vaccinations, dentistry and surgery services, as well as diagnostic and disease treatment for aging animals.

For over 100 years the intersection of Raymond and Hampden Avenues, where Minnepau is located, has held retail shops that have brought the community together. Minnepau is a full service veterinary clinic providing wellness care, diagnostics, vaccinations, surgery, and dental exams. Payment in full is due at the time of service. Your furry family member can't talk. That's why we believe that annual wellness exams are essential to make sure your pet stays healthy.

Mueller at Minnepau has provided excellent care for our 13-year old Labrador Retriever! He looks at his care holistically and with such compassion. Dr. Mueller explains everything very carefully, follows up to make sure everything is going ok, and his pricing is very reasonable. He makes things very simple with online scheduling and prescription services.
