SoundWaves Productions was constructed in 2009 and resides on the 2nd floor of my home in Gilbert, Arizona. The reason I chose to create a small home studio was my firm belief that most musical waste money at a large recording facility. Additionally, advances in technology have reduced the necessity for large facilities.
The result is that I can charge less than big studios charge and achieve the same professional results. How, you might ask? When I was recording in Nashville in 2006, I noticed what equipment the big studios used and took copious notes. I then re-created the signal chain of those facilities on a much smaller scale.
