Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was established in 1980 by Lozier Architects and Engineers, Inc. to provide sampling and analytical services to the environmental community. At its inception, Lozier Laboratories, Inc. was created to address the "new" complex technical and regulatory issues facing engineering firms in the early 1980's.

Its focus was the sampling of bulk building materials for asbestos content and ambient air sampling associated with asbestos abatement. The client base has grown to include a significant number of engineering and consulting firms, school districts, municipalities, and commercial/industrial accounts.
