By giving to Highland Community College, you support scholarships, program development, and capital projects. You make it possible for future Scotties to be successful. Support Scotties by giving to your passion. Gifts can be made to the Scottie Fund (unrestricted use), or to other College priorities such as Scholarships, Athletic Complex (Track & Field, Football Complex), Karns Kiosk, Diesel Technology, and Faculty Professional Development.

With a community of five locations covering a 230-mile area in northeast Kansas, you'll be within two hours of cities like Lawrence, Topeka and Kansas City, and equally near such major universities as the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, Washburn University, Missouri Western State University, and the University of Missouri KC.
Admissions

Whether you want to take classes on the Highland campus, Technical Center, a Regional Center, or online, applying for admission is easy. Just follow these steps! Submit your ACT or SAT scores if you have them. If you haven't taken either of these tests, don't worry! Prior to enrollment, you can schedule an appointment to take the ACCUPLACER test, for Technical programs you can take the WorkKeys test.

HCC has developed a complete program of financial aid and scholarship options to meet your needs. Highland Community College offers assistance based on academic achievement, special talents, and financial need.
Scholarships
Report
Institutional scholarships and awards are available for students attending classes on the main campus in Highland. Students attending the technical center and living on campus or with parents/guardians in Doniphan County are also eligible for institutional awards. Scholarships are not valid for online classes, whether or not a student is living on campus.
