Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group is an independent group of mental health clinicians located just southeast of uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Our mission is to provide high quality mental health services that enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and the community.
8/21/21: We continue to recommend virtual appointments whenever possible, and this will be the default option in our appointment confirmation system until further notice.However, most clinicians are available for in-person appointments in certain circumstances. Our psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provide initial evaluations and ongoing psychiatric care, including medication management, for children, adolescents, and adults.

Our group was founded in the 1970s as Charlotte Psychological and Counseling Group. In the 1980s, the group expanded to include more psychiatrists and changed names to Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group. For many years, our clinicians provided inpatient care at several hospitals in the area as well as outpatient care.

Initial evaluation appointments with an M.D. or Nurse Practitioner may last from 45 to 80 minutes, depending on clinician preference.
