Cristo Rey Network
Report
Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is a proud member of the Cristo Rey Network and we follow its Mission Effectiveness Standards. The Cristo Rey movement began in 1996 when Father John P. Foley, S.J., and his team opened Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago's Pilsen community.
The school's innovative business model allowed low-income students to receive a quality private Catholic education for minimal cost by working five days each month in an entry-level job at a law firm, bank, hospital, university, or other professional environment.

Being Jesuit

Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is one of more than sixty-eight Jesuit high schools in the United States, 13 of which are Cristo Rey schools. We are part of a more than 450-year tradition of Jesuit education that began in 1548 with the founding of the Jesuit college at Messina, Sicily, a tradition that now encompasses thousands of schools-middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities, and the Fey y Alegria schools.
