A 60 minute documentary on the life and work of Hostetler was completed in 2008. It captures David's vibrant personality, philosophy on art and his life, shows the sculpting process and provides many insights into his passions. In 2011, it won 4 EMMYS and currently airs on public television throughout the USA.
