The Dearing Concert Duo began performing for wedding ceremonies as a sideline to supplement their income while starting out their careers as concert artists. Because of the attention they were receiving from their concert stage performances, word caught on about their skill, flexibility, charisma and down-to-earth personalities amongst folks looking for a more intimate type of musical performance.
The Duo being a portable, non overwhelming music medium soon found themselves in high demand as wedding musicians performing all across the southeastern Michigan area. Steven and Abha formed the Dearing Concert Duo in 1998 after becoming partners in marriage and since have performed on concert venues across the US, Canada, England, and Scotland. They have performed for a Prime Minister of Canada and a President of India. They have produced three critically acclaimed CD's that are heard on radio stations across North America and the UK, and they have performed on both American and Canadian television and radio.

The Dearing Concert Duo provides live music for your special occasion, wedding, reception, ceremony and private event. They have entertained at functions with as few as 25 folks to hundreds; from living room parties to playing for the Prime Minister of Canada. The Dearing's are self sufficient and fully equipped with a small, portable sound system to handle larger rooms.
