Centre Wildlife Care
CWC is run by volunteers and is funded solely by donations. The director and founder, Robyn Graboski, is a trained and Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and has been rehabilitating wildlife since 1988. Robyn is licensed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service, the Fish and Boat Commission and the USDA.

CWC is a home care organization with the primary facility in Port Matilda and offers opportunities for individuals to volunteer. Many of our volunteers are students from Penn State University that are majoring in Wildlife or Pre-vet. Volunteers can help in various ways. Some help with feeding, medications and cage cleaning.
Services
Donate
Report
Did you know that CWC is funded by donations and operates with a trained staff of 50-60 volunteers! CWC receives no government funding and relies on donations. We now offer items for sale in our eBay charity store. The money earned from these sales will go towards the food, medicine and general care of our wild animals.
Volunteer & Support
Report
Centre Wildlife Care is looking for energetic, dynamic personnel who may be interested in veterinary medicine, zoology, wildlife education and management, animal science or just willing to volunteer a helping hand. Spring and summer are the busiest seasons for CWC. During these months we receive multiple animals a day requiring a team effort.
CWC Forever
Report
Centre Wildlife Care is undertaking an effort to ensure its continued existence after the retirement of our current rehabilitator. The reality is most wildlife rehabilitation facilities will close when their rehabilitator retires or moves. When this happens, the services will cease, and wildlife will suffer.
Educational Programs
Report
Program with live reptiles, which include both exotic and native species in addition to a preserved rattlesnake. Centre Wildlife Care (CWC) offers a variety of educational programs with one of our professional educators. Programs are available to any group that would like to increase awareness of native wild animals.
Wildlife Reference Sheet
Report
Call the PA Game Commission or a wildlife rehabilitator for assistance if you come across a dangerous wild animal. If you cannot catch and transport an animal, call Wildlife In Need (WIN) at 814-414-4224 to assist wildlife rescue. They assist state-wide in PA. A bird or small animal can be placed in a small box with a soft cloth on the bottom.
