Epic Chiropractic & Sports Therapy has been providing quality chiropractic care in Sacramento since 1942. We specialize in auto accident care, sports injuries, movement assessment, nutritional therapies, and myofascial release techniques. Using a combination of orthopedic, neurologic, and functional movement assessment we will identify faulty movement patterns, neurological deficit, and joint / soft tissue dysfunction in order to recommend the appropriate treatment plan. The goal of this phase is to reduce pain, inflammation, and restore full range of motion of the affected structures.

Report
Dr. Shanks was born in Half Moon Bay and raised in Sacramento. She received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Psychology from California State University Sacramento. Her research thesis was in Sleep and Dreams, with her Master's thesis in psychosomatic conditions of anxiety. She received her doctorate degree in Chiropractic Studies from Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1979.
