Since 2001, we've made cheese using original interpretations of age-old cheese making processes borrowed from both French and Italian traditions - handmade in small batches with all natural ingredients, including farm-raised herbs, tree nuts, and honey with 100% pasteurized goat milk, sea salt, and vegetable rennet.We have hundreds of native plants available in our outdoor nursery!

Yellow Springs Farm founder-owners Catherine & Al Renzi believe in connecting sustainable landscapes to sustainable food systems. The farm and nursery include an historic 19th century farmhouse, dairy barn, and a pond with spring house on eight acres of land. Originally a cow dairy farm over 150 years ago, the Renzi's purchased the farm in 2001 - protecting it from future development with a conservation easement.

After purchasing our property in 2001, we wanted to change and restore the landscape on our own land, but were limited by the lack of native plants available for sale locally. Our native plant propagation, sales, and landscape service offerings was born from our own need and passion for land conservation.

Our consulting and naturalistic design services for homeowners and businesses emphasize an environmentally-friendly approach to design, plant selection and maintenance with the goals of providing wildlife habitat, improved soils and air quality and less surface water run-off, all for a better quality of life.

Pre-order a la carte cheese options for pick up, or order cheese samplers or gift boxes for pick up, local delivery, or shipping via UPS! Our cheese is also available for in person shopping at Kimberton Whole Foods and Mid-Atlantic Whole Foods Markets, and on Saturdays during market hours at Phoenixville Farmers' Market and West Chester Growers Market.

Shop online for contactless driveway pickup at the farm, at Phoenixville Farmers' Market on Saturdays, or make an appointment to shop with us in person. Arrival times are staggered for a socially distanced shopping experience. Ground shipping via UPS available. We offer free local delivery within 10 miles of YSF for orders over $150.
