Our college is the premier destination for people who want high-skill job training, transfer degrees and access to community classes. Come visit us. We'll help you achieve your goals and connect with people! This is a campus the community built. In the late 1950s, a small group of local people led by longshoreman Henry Hansen and the longshore union went to the state's capitol and lobbied for creation of community colleges.
