A ghost is not what you think it is, says Raven. A ghost is a commitment. As she struggles with redefining her expectations for her life, she slips further and further underground into the ancestral realm, where she finds herself writing a play directed by her father-as-raven. Raven says, It will be a cast of only four: you and me and my mother and my father, and we will speak until there are no more words between us.

About

What is the Peregrine Book Company? We're Prescott's largest independently owned bookstore. We're grateful to the Prescott Daily Courier, Shelf Awareness, Prescottenews, Sandy Moss at KQNA radio (Q&A 11/14/12 interview), and our great supporters on Facebook and Twitter who helped spread the news about our opening.
Local History
Report
In 1910 our address was the location of the street car garage for the Prescott & Mount Union Railway. About 1930 the garage was torn down and the present building was built to house the Arizona Mining Supply Corporation. When mining died out it became the Arizona General Supply Company, a hardware store that closed in the 1980's.

Recently, the Peregrine and other independent bookstores have received complaints about incorrect biographical notes. The American Booksellers Association suggests that the best solution is for authors or publishers to contact Ingram directly, in order to fix the issue at the source. Please understand there has been a recent change in our distributor's data which reflects the information you see on our website.
