Joe's Music Lessons

Joey Mendez provides in-home guitar lessons and in-home piano lessons in Orange County and Long Beach. When I started lessons I had some experience but no formal training. The lessons are very fun and I am learning a lot of things including technique and theory that I would never have learned on my own.

Joey is an excellent teacher and I'm lucky to have found him! My teaching philosophy is based in the belief that learning music should be fun and exciting! I always encourage my students to pursue the kind of music that they find most appealing. Rather than using the same curriculum and method book, I work with each of my students to develop a unique curriculum centered around their individual interests and goals.
