Weve done a lot of escape rooms not only in the Raleigh/Durham area, but also when we go on vacation. Its a fun family activity for us. Weve done good rooms, great rooms, and not-so-great rooms. I dont leave reviews for the bad rooms. NC Escape had good rooms. We try to do double features the same day, so I called to talk to the game master and get a feel for which rooms would fit our group best. They recommended Alien Escape and The Attic. First, we tackled Alien Escape. It was harder than we anticipated. We needed more hints than normal to keep things moving as we struggled to find

Ive done every room theyve had here and theyve all been fantastic! Most recently, we did the newest room (Kidnapped) and had a great time! Megan and Emily made it such a fun, engaging, and entertaining experience.

We were first time escape room people. We brought our 10 year old and did the Alien Escape. It was amazing. We did not solve, but it was satisfying. A more experienced team would be able to finish, but it was enough to not frustrate to the point of tension. Also, the guy working, maybe the owner, not sure, but is a good guy. I had called around to report someone who seemed to be not okay, but could just have been in need of help/resources. He agreed to keep an eye out, said if he saw something concerning he would reach out. It was good to hear a business speak out of concern for those in crisis

My partner and I were in the area and happened to pass this place. It was close to their last call time, but we decided to see if they could squeeze us in. Megan was working, and she was a delight. We were able to play the Attic room.
Room: the Attic was a bit creepy, with a few good jump scares including loud noises. I like being scared, so it was really fun for me, but might not be someone else's cup of tea. We had some difficulty in the first half, but then found our footing in the second half. It was just me and my partner playing, so maybe we would have gotten puzzles done more easily

After moving to NC from Chicago, we've been looking for some rooms to play. I am very glad we started here! The Alien Abduction room was fantastic, and a great taste of what NC has to offer. Our gamemaster/host was incredibly kind and fun to talk to. Will come back for the attic, as well as all future games produced by NC Escape!

Decided to go to an escape room for date night and decided to do the attic, had only done one other one before (and it consisted of multiple rooms) so i did not know what to expect with this one, however it was actually great we really enjoyed it. I liked how they gave us an ipad that would send off hints if we got stuck and it was throughout that I realized just how much thought they had put into every inch of the room. It actually took us the entire hour to find our way out but i really enjoyed it and look forward to trying out their other rooms.
