Your Trusted Source for Youth Soccer Development
Portage Soccer Club has been dedicated to youth soccer development since 1985, operating as a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We field over 40 boys and girls teams across U9-U19 age groups, emphasizing player development over winning while maintaining one of Michigan's premier soccer complexes. Our philosophy focuses on nurturing athletes' potential through structured programs from academy to elite levels, supported by experienced USSF-licensed coaches. The club owns and operates a 37-acre complex with nine full-sized fields and an eight-field practice facility, hosting regional tournaments annually. With over 700 players and decades of community involvement, we provide affordable access to high-quality soccer training through volunteer efforts and fundraising initiatives. Our programs include Pre-ECNL preparation, summer training series, and youth development academies, all designed to foster technical skills and sportsmanship. The club maintains strict safety standards with smoke-free, pet-free facilities and comprehensive player evaluation criteria during tryouts. Through partnerships with local organizations and corporate sponsors, we sustain our mission to develop well-rounded athletes and community members. Our volunteer-driven model reduces costs while maintaining professional coaching standards comparable to for-profit clubs. Annual events like Golf for Kicks and AmazonSmile partnerships help maintain affordable fees for families.

Nice fields and clean facilities. There's even warm water in the bathrooms! It's a long walk to field 8 though, so give yourself at least 5 minutes to get there from the parking lot.

Nice facility, fields are on the shorter side for higher level completion; but conditions were good during a very dry spell. Nice concession stand & restroom facilities, too.

This place is awesome for soccer games. The grass is nicely cut, facilities are clean, you can buy snacks and drinks, there are a couple of sheds where you can sit and watch the game while you chill out. Big parking garage...I love it!
