Bloodroot Holistics
We strive to use the power of business as a tool for transformation. Since the inception of Bloodroot Holistics in 2018, we have continuously dedicated a portion of our proceeds to non-profit organizations & individuals working for social and environmental change. This, along with a holistic approach to working with our clients, allows us to create a space that works with both the macrocosm and microcosm in the pursuit of healing and justice.

Owner and founder Shea Olinger has continuously volunteered to bring health justice into underserved communities through yoga, bodywork, mindfulness and herbalism.

Shea is so knowledgeable and talented! I came to her with a lower back injury and got a 90 minute Thai Massage session. She opened my hips and back and really got me started on my healing process while being so gentle and mindful of the acute pain I was in. Her herbal medicine knowledge, compassion, and years of experience are a breath of fresh air when you are in need of healing.
About Shea
Report
Over the past seven years, I have devoted my life's work to understanding the body holistically - focusing my studies primarily on Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Healing Arts and Western Herbalism.

I began my studies in 2014 at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga before going on to assist my initial Thai Bodywork teacher in various trainings while simultaneously obtaining certification all the way to an advanced level in Thai Bodywork techniques. My offerings began to take on a trauma-informed lens as I learned how to hold space in yoga classes for at risk populations in Western North Carolina.

If you are running 5 minutes late for an appointment, that is understandable. However, if you are running more than 10-15 minutes late any missed time is not added to the end of your appointment duration. We are not able to make up for any missed time on the clients part due to having a tight schedule.
