Valley Mental Health (VMH) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic serving Marion and Polk Counties with provider offices located throughout Salem and Keizer. We serve infants and toddlers, children, teens, adults and seniors in individual and group settings with a variety of emotional, mental and developmental needs.

VMH specialists include:. Valley Mental Health was started in 1994 and now has over 25 employees and 30 contractors. Our experienced team works together to provide clients with treatment suited to their individual needs. Valley Mental Health treats mental, emotional and behavioral problems. Our goal is to provide compassionate and professional treatment that meets the needs of the individuals we serve.

Valley Mental Health (VMH) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic where individuals can receive individual, group and family therapy as well as medication management, case management and skills training from over 30 Licensed and Masters level clinicians (QMHP); five Licensed Medical Providers (LMP), and by five Case Managers/Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA).-
Our Team

After many wonderful years, Dr. Steve Tackett-Nelson and Dr. Ed Daly have retired from the practice. We wish them many fun adventures. Please contact Camille Soleil, Executive Director, at 503-589-4046 regarding joining our practice if you are a Psychiatrist, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a licensed therapist or a counseling/social work intern.
Video Appointments

Try to be logged in with video and microphone working 5 minutes ahead of your scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your session this may be considered a missed appointment and you will need to call (503) 589-4046 to reschedule. Please note that there may be circumstances that cause your provider to be a few minutes late to your appointment.

If you have an immediate emergency contact 911 or the Psychiatric Crisis Center at 503-585-4949 or their website here. Contact your therapist. On your first appointment you will be given written information about how to contact your therapist in an emergency. If an emergency occurs after office hours, the message on the Valley Mental Health answering machine will give you instructions about how to contact someone for help.
