Dr. Norman Magnuson returned to Oregon and began his first dental practice, Norman D. Magnuson, DDS, in 1982. Magnuson's son Dr. Ryan Magnuson joined him, and together they offer general, family, and cosmetic dentistry in two cities. Friendly and caring staff who make you feel comfortable. Dr. Magnuson explains everything clearly and makes it as easy/efficient as possible without breaking the bank or sacrificing quality. I was super nervous to replace a crown on my front tooth as there are a million ways to get it wrong. My new crown looks awesome and really natural. He and the staff made sure I left happy.

I am generally rather uncomfortable with medical offices, but I feel very comfortable here.
Every time I come in for my self, or especially for my 1 year old son, I am reminded of their love for human beings and bonds of all family units.
I'm so glad that Ryan is continuing to bring the same genuine human care and concern that I received from his father and mother the first time I came in.

Office and staff are great. New technology as well as thorough explanation throughout service and cleaning. Identified problem area's as well as area's that are in good shape. Gave me directions on how to address issues, and did not try and sell me on services that I do not need. Appreciate an honest dental office that is driven more by patient dental health then those that over prescribe treatments and un-needed dental work. Thank you very much to the entire team at Magnuson!

I made somewhat of an emergency visit to this practice to get a tooth pulled while on vacation. I was very impressed with the responsiveness to my needs - they even scheduled an appointment for me while working outside office hours. The staff and dentist were helpful and cared about my situation. The check-in process was easy (via computer vs. paper forms) and overall, a great experience. Highly recommend this practice for those in the Eugene/Springfield areas.

Used to like going here before I realized this place is not where you can get quality dental work. Dr M has a very heavy handed approach to dental work and not a top notch diagnostician or final fit and finish on dental work/appliances. His misdiagnosis sent me back and forth to my primary care because he didn't properly diagnose a abscess issue. The bite guard and crown fit like a sock on a rooster (fit poorly). Then what I see as a major problem is his wife works the business office doing mostly her own personal business instead of getting approval for work. I sat and listened to Debbie

It is too bad that Dr. Magnuson has entrusted his very rude and incompetent wife to "manage" the front operations of this practice, as I do feel that he is a great dentist.
Debbie is very rude, condescending.
My husband and I were patients for years, until Debbie fraudulently charged late fees to our account for many months. When I attempted to contact Debbie many times over several months regarding incorrect fees, I was unable to resolve any concerns I had, as I was immediately shut down by this rude incompetent woman.
The chaveat to our situation was that if my husband

This review is long overdue! I was able to find this place through co-workers when I first moved here three years ago and have stuck it out ever since. Not that the staff here makes it hard. They're super accommodating with my schedule. Really, everyone is stellar and the place is just downright homey. In fact, they have a couple of office dogs I adore and every patient room has its own theme (and you know there's one for the Ducks). It's like a dental fun house. :)
