Wanda Carrington is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults. She is the wife of a Veteran and understands the needs of our military population as well as civilians here in Hampton Roads. She has worked in mental health settings her entire nursing career and has experience in acute mental health, substance abuse and outpatient mental health settings.
Wanda enjoys working with clients diagnosed with Major Depression, Bipolar Depression, Autism Spectrum, Generalized Anxiety and Panic Disorder, Substance Abuse, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Post-Traumatic Stress and Psychotic disorders. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York and originally moved to Virginia Beach in 2005.
