UYE Baby Bumpy Humpy Hour! @ New Helvetia Brewing
Originally built in 1925, and fondly remembered as the home to Casa Grande Tortilla Factory, 1730 Broadway proved to be a perfect fit for New Helvetia Brewing Co. This is a place where the community can gather, meet friends, celebrate any occasion, engage in civic discussions, watch a game, eat from a food truck, enjoy high-quality craft beer and learn about our brewing process.

The Story
Report
New Helvetia Brewing Co. is a community brewery that celebrates Sacramento's history and is investing in Sacramento's future. Our beer is brewed right here in our 10-barrel, steam-fired brewery on the corner of 18th Street and Broadway using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. For us, supporting local is a matter of pride.
The Beer
Report
A modern interpretation of a classic Sacramento brew, and the inspiration for creating New Helvetia Brewing Company. This Helles-style lager pays homage to the historic Buffalo Beer, and serves as a reminder that Sacramento is, and always will be, a beer town. This unique beer is the result of years of research and development, culminating in this full-bodied, unfiltered beer with a deceptively complex flavor and amber color.

Wonk Wednesday
Report
We invite policy wonks, planners of all shades, developers, urban designers and concerned citizens; leaders and followers alike to join an ongoing conversation about smart growth, urban planning, and climate change. People will agree, people will disagree, bonds will form, feelings will get hurt, and hopefully we will emerge with a slightly better understanding of the problems we collectively face.
