The effects of Hurricane Dorian were among the worst natural disaster ever experienced in the Bahamas. The real devastation came as a result of the nearly stationary hurricane track that remained over those islands for more than 24 hours bringing a devastating storm surge to Marsh Harbour along with reported wind gusts well over 190mph.
