To purposely serve Columbus, Indiana with the highest customer care, the best specialty coffee, and an amazing environment to gather community. Lucabe Coffee Co. is the culmination of a dream that started during Tyler & Alissa's engagement, back in 2009. A few years later, when they moved to Columbus, Indiana, they realized that a great, locally-owned, specialty coffee shop was missing from the landscape.
And so, began to think and pray about how they might make that happen. After a location was identified, successful crowd-funding raise was made, all the other pieces fell into place! The name Lucabe was formed by a combination of Tyler & Alissa's three children (at the time of starting the business): Lucas, Calvin, Bella.

We source our beans through a local roaster, Sunergos, in Louisville, KY. They work directly with the farms to ensure the beans are responsibly sourced (beyond fairtrade), to obtain the highest quality, and to keep freshness as a top priority. They are considered a micro-roastery so they only source their beans to a select few businesses, and their espresso blend is award winning!
