Greenstreet Coffee is a pioneer Philadelphia coffee roaster honing the craft of coffee with passion. Currently roasting in South Philadelphia and serving fresh by the cup at 4533 Baltimore Ave, Greenstreet prides itself on direct trade practices that allow for transparency from seed to cup. Chris Molieri started Greenstreet Coffee Roasters to offer a fresh approach to great coffee and sustainable business practices.

Chris always dreamed to start his own business and took the time to explore starting Greenstreet Coffee a couple years after completing his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Finance and spending 10 months living in Portland, OR.

We involve ourselves with every piece of the supply chain. You can find us chatting with a Barista about extracting the perfect shot, cupping coffees with an importer or traveling to meet growers. At GreenStreet we know how complex and large coffee can be and approach every interaction ready to learn and improve.

We provide information on all of our coffees, their certifications and origin. We make sure that fair dealings and practices are being used along the supply chain for all of our coffees. We do our best to directly work with farmers and growers in the countries we source from. We know that this earth is much larger than us and we need to do our best to take good care of it.
Roasting

The Fresher the Better! Like most agricultural products that are altered by heat to become what we commonly know them as; the fresher your roast the better your coffee will taste. Roasting is the process of turning raw or green coffee into the brown roasted coffee that we love. The process is both physical and chemical and involves both art and science.
