As a second generation optometrist, Dr. Park was blessed to have received her very first optometric lessons from her father and older brother - the seeds were planted at a very young age. And sure enough, as she continued to received the kind of unique mentorship that only family could provide, that early interest and curiosity kept growing into the focused passion it is today.

This instrument will enhance our ability to detect and monitor retinal defects associated with common systemic diseases such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, stroke, and thyroid issues.
