John is the owner of Perfect Fit Custom Shutters and the designer of all our custom shutters. John started Perfect Fit in 1989, making and installing the shutters himself. He wanted to give his customers an excellent product and that is still his mission. Marie has been with Perfect Fit since 2004 and is our senior sales representative.
She brings her passion for our spectacular products to work every day to ensure our customers receive the highest quality products and service. Karen strives for 100% customer satisfaction. She works tirelessly to make sure the customer makes the best possible choices for their new shutters. Isaias is our lead installer for interior shutters.

Our Interior Plantation Shutters and our Exterior Cedar Shutters are handmade in our shutter workshop in Gaithersburg by our expert staff. While typical shutters companies offer only one type of mount for all kinds of different windows, Perfect Fit prides itself on the many options we have available to us since we have the workshop, the tools and the expertise.

We offer curve top panels, angle top panels, rear tilt bar, hidden tilt bar, double hung plantation shutters, 1 7/8 louvers, split tilt bar feature, shutters on bifold and bypass tracks, custom stained shutters, shutters for pass-throughs, and many more options which require expertise and experience.

We can assist you in choosing the right material, color, layout, and type of interior shutter from the options below. We offer three standard sizes of louver (the horizontal, movable slats), and each provides a different look. The 2 1/2 inch louver offers the classic traditional look. The 3 1/2 inch louver is gorgeous in most any home and window size.
