Why do we carefully select our music teachers? The selection of a music teacher is important to success in music lessons and student enjoyment. Our music instructors are qualified and experienced, but utilize different approaches to increase fun, creativity and music lessons benefit. The interaction of student and teacher is important and so, under the direction of our music school, each student is carefully matched with the right teacher.
What We Offer

At Long Ridge, we offer private lessons for every level in piano, guitar, strings, voice, brass, percussion and more. The interaction of student and teacher is critical to mastering a musical instrument and so each student is carefully matched with an instructor. Weekly lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length.
Why We Teach

Long Ridge Music Center has been specially designed as a facility for music study. Each acoustically isolated, spacious studio features large, sound-proof windows and is furnished with a new piano from Allegro Pianos with whom we share the building. Our 80-seat recital space, with a deck overlooking the serenity of the pond, is furnished with some of the best concert grands available for students' performances.
Piano Lessons

We teach piano lessons to students of all levels and ages from Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan, CT as well as Bedford, Armonk and Pound Ridge, NY. Our piano teachers are experienced and excel in teaching different musical genres. And while at our music school each piano teacher has an advanced degree in piano performance, each piano teacher knows that piano lessons for children and adults alike should first be fun!
Violin Lessons

Long Ridge Music Center provides private violin lessons for all levels and ages. We teach violin students from Stamford, Greenwich, New Canaan, CT, and Pound Ridge, Bedford, Armonk, NY. The interaction of student and teacher is critical to mastering a musical instrument, and so each violin student is carefully matched with the right violin teacher.
