My name is Stephen Blanton, and I am proud to be the sole proprietor of this well-appointed recording, mixing, and mastering studio, c alled The Green-House Studio, located in the beautiful and creative Asheville, NC area. An intimate, creative space has been maintained here with an ear toward great sonics in euphonic and comfortable spaces.

Tracking for record album production or demos (done here in the sonorous acoustic confines of the Green-House Studio); up to 22 simultaneous individual tracks. I have had the occasion to add a couple of components to the AD/DA conversion capabilities here. And it's the best of the best!

Music is often at its very best when it is performed live in front of an appreciative audience. Here at Blantone Music I offer some mighty fine equipment and the know-how to capture your performances at their very best. More on that in a bit. First, let's take a look at the larger picture.
Most quality venues have great production equipment in their front-of-house (FOH) deployment: a snake to accept microphone input for connection to the mixing console where the FOH engineer makes the magic happen as they support and assist artists in their presentation, combining all the elements of instruments and vocals and routing these through the speakers which fill the room with their refined output.

Using the superb quality Mobile Fidelity Labs Ultra Deck Turntable (With Master Tracker Cartridge) and PS Audio GCPH phono preamp (modified by Chris Johnson at Parts ConneXion), and ProJect RPM-4 Turntable with a selection of Grado cartridges. I have had the occasion to add a couple of components to the AD/DA conversion capabilities here.

What with the 'democratization' of audio recording over the last decade, it's now easier than ever to say, "I have a studio." And that's a good thing. As in any pursuit, though, there are things that tend to create distinctions among participants in a chosen field. Those distinctions can include experience, knowledge, skill, facilities-equipment, too.
