Bonita Boat Rentals
Bonita Boat Rentals makes it easy to "Be Your Own Captain" on one of our clean, comfortable pontoon boats. Explore the best of Southwest Florida, including the waters of Fort Myers Beach and North Naples. Our great location offers access to over 35 miles of the Intracoastal Waterway for a variety of boating trips, including Estero Bay, Big Hickory Bay, Fish Trap Bay, the Imperial River, the Estero River and Spring Creek.

Only minutes to the north awaits Estero Bay, which has the unique privilege of being Florida's first aquatic preserve, dedicated in 1966. Estero Bay is home to over 40% of the state's threatened and endangered species. Surrounded by massive red mangrove forests on the north end of Estero Bay, Big Carlos Pass offers beach access to Lovers Key State Park.
Services
Andy King (also known as "Captain Andy") was born and bred in Ohio, but is a true Floridian at heart. He has been with us since he was a young lad just out of high school. No one works harder or puts in more hours at the business than Andy. He is the resident mechanic and keeps track of just about everything.

Estero Bay
Report
Nothing beats relaxing on the soft sands of Florida's southwest coast beaches more than cruising the crystal blue-green waters of Estero Bay in a boat rented from Bonita Boat Rentals. Estero Bay continues to overflow with abundant marine life as it did when it was officially named Florida's first aquatic preserve in 1966.
Faq
Report
You must be at least 21 years old to rent a boat. There are two options available for completing a boating safety course online- a free course that takes approximately 4-8 hours to complete and is good for life, or a much shorter course that costs $10 for a temporary certificate good for one year. Popular destinations include the beaches at New Pass (15 minute ride) or Lovers Key (20 minute ride).
Fishing
Report
Florida has a saltwater fishing license. If you have children under 16 you can help them fish without a license, but they need to be the ones actively fishing. A non-resident 3-day saltwater fishing license is $17. The slight cooling of our water temperatures means Fall has arrived for fishing in Estero Bay.
