At Village, we place a strong emphasis on parent education. Parents are encouraged to discipline with understanding and respect for the children, guiding them toward kind and responsible behavior through the use of positive language. 1. Taking part in a Cooperative Preschool allows families to be directly involved in their child's early education. It allows families to work directly with the teachers and interact with a community of other parents. Parents and children develop an extended family with friendships that extend beyond school hours.
Tuition

Drop in extended afternoon care is not currently available. Early drop-off is not currently available, but we hope to resume this option soon. Early drop-off was previously available from 8am to 9 am daily for an additional $5 per day. NOTE - The non-participating option is only available for parents with two or more concurrently enrolled children.
Summer Sessions
Report
Village offers a summer program for families who are not currently enrolled as members. Sessions start in the middle of June and runs\ through the middle of August. For 2021, the program is scheduled into 2 themed, four-week sessions. We offer half-day enrollment (only 5 days, half-day available during summer) and full-day enrollment.

As a non-profit organization, Village Nursery School is funded entirely by the tuition income from the families who are enrolled in our program. We do not receive any financial support from the school district or other organizations.
Maintaining the quality of our program and continuing to improve our staff salaries and our school facilities is of primary importance to our school as is keeping tuition costs affordable for our families and competitive with other programs.For these reasons, fundraising plays an important role in our school.
