We employ over 45 professional and university trained Music Teachers who all hold Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate degrees in Music, Pedagogy and/or early childhood development.

Opus 1 Music Studio is a professional music studio based in the Northern California Area since 2006. We offer private and group music lessons at our Mountain View and Palo Alto locations. Instruments include piano, violin, viola, voice, ukulele and guitar. An Opus is a creative work by a musical composer that represents a great achievement and a chapter of legacy.

Our Music Teachers are organized in Level I, II, III, defined according to their experience, their teaching style, and the goals and expectations of their students. Teacher Levels are not to be confused with the Students Level. A beginner student may start right away with a Level II or III Teacher if more rapid results are expected.

It's been a year since we joined Opus 1 and it's been such a great experience. We been doing Voice with teacher Annie and piano with teacher Marco. The teachers are great, patient, and friendly. They make learning music fun. The teachers at Opus 1 are great and experienced but I should mention that the staffs make it an even better place.
