Our learning center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. These volunteers come from a wide variety of professional and business backgrounds. Any child, 6 weeks to 12 years of age, is potentially eligible for our services. We provide full day childcare, half day care for kindergartners and before and after school care.
We have a 3 day, 4 day and a 5 day rate. Our program is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for children in which they can develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. To accomplish this, we provide the following: Well balanced meals and snacks, learning center environments, a balance of child to teacher directed activities, outdoor play areas, field trips, and a caring professional staff.

Great beginnings was an amazing center until recently. I have a special needs child that I informed and communicated with the staff and director his behavior concerns and sensory concerns. The worked very well with me and my family for a long time than a new director came to the center and it has gone down hill. For several weeks I requested a meeting with the director and my sons current teacher and after my son was sent home repeatedly for weeks and still no meeting and very little communication I contacted the CEO. The CEO listened contacted me back same day and told me my son was no longer

I have had my child enrolled at Great Beginnings for about 6 months. They always demonstrate true kindness and compassion for the children they watch. I immediately observed the infant teacher truly loves the kids she takes care of. You can tell she is there because she loves her job. When we drop off they always refer to my child by name, even the teachers in the older classes who likely have limited interactions with my child. My baby is always clean and looks happy at pick up. They have responded so well to the COVID crisis and ensuring the children are kept as safe as possible.

When my husband and I were looking for a daycare for the first time it took us a while, we visited multiple centers and talked to a lot of people, and then we found Great Beginnings. Not only we as parents felt comfortable right away, but my daughter did too, she clicked immediately with the teachers! It's been 3 years since the first day we visit Great Beginnings, and I am thankful to the teaches and the staff! Everyone is always kind and helpful.

Both of our kids started care at Great Beginnings as infants. Our oldest son is now 5 and our youngest son is 2. They really love all of their teachers, the staff is always friendly, very helpful and great with the kids. The center is clean, safe and our kids are well cared for. We appreciate all of the crafts and educational projects our kids do while they attend. Our family has had a great experience and would highly recommend this daycare center.

I have been fortunate to have all four of my kids go through Great Beginnings and still have one child there. I have valued how they have taken care of our kids during the school year and summer. I have felt comfortable and confident in leaving my kids there with quality staff from when they were little babies to now middle school on days off and the summer.
When I drop them off and pick them up they are excited to see staff, friends, and much more. I value this second home for my kids knowing they will be taken care of, supported and given a healthy environment to grow and develop.

My daughter has been going to Great Beginnings for almost 4 years now. The staff is very caring, friendly and competent. They integrate a lot of educational content appropriate for her age during her days there. We get weekly updates on teaching topics as well as a monthly review. This facility has been very proactive with the pandemic implementing several protocols to keep our children and their staff safe. We've had some combination of our 3 girls here from infancy through Clubhouse. The staff are great and do a real preschool program, teaching math, letters, and other concepts. During COVID, they have been extremely diligent about safety and completely transparent about exposures. Remote school from a daycare center is a difficult proposition, but they've done everything they can to make it work. They stay on top of the changing schedules and special requests from my kids' teachers to make sure they are where they are supposed to be at the right time. I switched my son to Great Beginnings after an incident with another daycare provider which made me feel uncomfortable. Since then, I have been really pleased with my decision and couldn’t be happier with the care and communication provided by this daycare. They take necessary caution during Covid and have been such an enormous help during this time. They are amazing at following my son’s online school schedule and help him complete his school during the day. I seriously don’t know what I would do without them!!

Choosing a childcare provider for my son was one of the first tough decisions I had to make as a parent. You are essentially trying to choose which complete strangers you are going to trust with the most precious thing in your life. I have not once in the last two years regretted my choice. The staff at Great Beginnings has been amazing with my son. He absolutely loves all of his teachers (he has a special place in his heart for Miss Tristan). He was recently home with me for four months due to a mix of COVID-19 and maternity leave and he has had a hard time adjusting to being back in daycare.

We sent our infant child to Great Beginnings right before the pandemic started and have continued his care there now that they are reopened. Staff have been diligent in their safety measures and management has been extremely communicative during this period. My son comes home well fed, clean and clearly is learning so much while at daycare. The staff are friendly, share how his day was, and are very open to working with parents on whatever needs we may have.
