My journey into permanent makeup started one day while I was having lunch with my mother. She told me she had decided to have a permanent makeup procedure. I had never heard of permanent makeup before. When I realized she was talking about having a tattoo on her face, I panicked! We were both nurses working long hours at the time and she began to explain to me how much easier her life would be if she did not have to reapply her makeup every day.
