Brinnwood Farm is conveniently in Sanford, NC roughly 30 minutes from Raleigh, 40 minutes from Fort Bragg, and 35 minutes from Southern Pines. We take pride in the individual care of each of the horses in our care, and with our no training requirements policy, we happily accept all horses in any stage of their lives. From broodmare, rehab, or retirement options to full service training, we're happy to assist you and your equine partner with any of your needs.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tara started riding at 11 years old at Triton Stables in Raleigh, NC. Her passion for the sport blossomed while training with and working under Matthias Hollberg at Apex Equestrian Center whose focus was hunter/ jumper horses and riders. With 10 years experience working for boarding facilities and trainers, Tara has a strong understanding of the detailed care that goes into boarding horses.

Brinnwood Farm boasts 58 stalls between three separate barns, large covered ring with lights and speakers, round pen, covered 6 horse automatic hot walker, hot/cold wack bay, 2 bathrooms (one with shower), and trailer hookups with electric and water. Our top barn houses six broodmare/foaling stalls, seven 12'X12' stalls, AI laboratory for semen collection and processing for both on-site breeding and overnight shipment, and stocks.
