T Black Aviation offers Aviation Ground Schools, Flight Training, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) Certifications, Maintenance and Maintenance Training. We are authorized to give all FAA and FCC, and NCATT written exams. We are the experts in taking military and field experienced personnel and helping them attain their A&P license and Inspection Authorization (IA) Certification.

He is a retired combat veteran who has served in several conflicts throughout the world and has many years experience in both the maintenance and flying of various aircraft. T Black Aviation takes pride in making your baby sparkle. We do all types of aircraft cleaning and detailing: interior, exterior, wash only, full wax, or whatever you desire! Aircraft cleaning can be done by the time you get back from Clearwater Beach, or if you're planning an extended visit we can set you up for a recurring appointment.
A&P Experience Requirement

As a member in the military your MOS may give you the experience required by the Federal Aviation Administration for the Airframe & Powerplant License. FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 65-30 specifies which MOS's and skill levels are eligible for the respective rating.

A&P Process

Bring your photo ID and proof of experience to your meeting with the FAA inspector. Samples include: training records, DD Form 214, letters of recommendation, graduation certificate(s), etc. Our objective is to expand the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the experienced aviation technician.

If you're learning on a budget, you can visit our "Pilot Tools" page to access scholarship links. The owner of the business is a pilot, certified A&P mechanic and IA. This means we do all of our own maintenance; and the cost savings allows us to keep our rates competitive. Do to flight instructor shortage, we are no longer providing flight training at this time.
