Patient Testimonials
Report
Dr Rai has performed two implants and two extractions on me. I regard him as a top notch oral surgeon, with impeccable surgical technique; but he is also an inciteful diagnostician. My experience with his office personnel matches his professional excellence, also. I highly recommend him for anyone needing oral surgery, but also as a second opinion, before undergoing oral surgery elsewhere.
Surgical Instructions
Report
After your oral surgery, you'll be sent home with a detailed list of instructions on how to properly care for your teeth and gums. It is common to experience some discomfort, bleeding, and swelling, and we will provide you with prescription medication and home care advice on how to best deal with these issues.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Report
Your jaw is too small. One of the most common reasons why the wisdom teeth become impacted is because there is not enough space in the jaw to accommodate all 32 teeth. Your teeth are blocked by soft tissue or bone, which is preventing them from erupting through the gums. For many people, there just is not enough space in the jaw to accommodate all 32 teeth.
Dental Implants
Report
Grinding and clenching your teeth. Also called bruxism, the act of grinding and clenching puts excessive amounts of pressure on your teeth and jaw. This pressure can wear away the jawbone, causing the teeth to become loose. The posts, typically made from titanium, are surgically placed into your jawbone.
Bone Grafting
Report
The bone around your teeth, known as the alveolar ridge, is an important part of your oral health. Damage to the alveolar ridge can affect the stability and function of your existing teeth. It can also affect your chances of receiving Dental Implant treatment for a missing tooth. At Rai Oral Surgery & Dental Implants we offer bone grafting to restore deficiencies in your alveolar ridge and improve your oral health.
