Susan Crosser has been teaching piano in Grand Rapids for over 40 years. As a music teacher, she has worked with hundreds of students and their families following the teachings of Shinichi Suzuki. Using this method, Susan can successfully teach your child (any child!) to play the piano well, just as all children learn to speak their native language.
She delights in developing a love of music in all children which is surpassed only by her love for the children themselves and assisting them to grow as human beings with beautiful hearts. As a member of the Suzuki Association of Americas, she has had extensive training in the Suzuki Method. She knows "Where there's a TWINKLE, there's a STAR!"

Report
Parents are involved in creating a rich musical environment and serve as "home teachers." They play repertoire recordings daily, take notes at lessons, share partner lessons, attend concerts and make music a positive priority woven into the family life and structure. Repetition of small steps with sincere praise and encouragement allows mastery and cultivates a positive attitude.
