Notions Sewing Studio is a sewing and crafting studio based out of Eureka, California. Our mission is to provide a quality learning experience where each student can enjoy the experience of sewing and crafting in a fun, nurturing environment. Our goal is to encourage confidence and creativity giving each student the skills they need to work independently toward their own sewing goals.
We offer a variety of kids camps as well as private and group lessons for all ages in our garden studio in Eureka. We are also a mobile studio so you may find us at other venues as well. We offer after-school programs at schools and we're happy to bring classes to you. Contact us for more information about our mobile studio if you would like us to join you in your studio.

Notions Sewing studio is a sewing and fiber arts studio set up to teach you all the basics of sewing and more. Notions sewing studio has classes designed for both children and adults, offering small classes in a fun, lighthearted environment. Our team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with you not just the art of sewing, but also the many realms of felting, up-cycling, dying, silkscreening, embellishment and alteration.
After School Classes

Our after-school classes offer a lot of flexibility for each students individual needs. This class is designed for students who have taken a beginning sewing class and are capable of working independently. We love it when our students know what they want to make, but we have plenty of ideas if needed.
Holiday Camps

Notions Sewing Studio is has moved to our garden studio on O street near Henderson Center in Eureka. Our wonderful little sewing room holds up to six students in each class. Most all of our classes start at 8 years. For 7year olds that have good focus, ability to follow directions and are ready to start sewing we welcome you to take our beginning level sewing camp.

Private lessons $25 hr for first hour $15 for each additional hour( classes typically last 2-4 hrs). We provide everything you need for your first class and will communicate with you if there are any supplies you would need to have in the future. For advanced classes and clothing classes we prefer if you bring your own fabric as our options are limited.
