I have been at SaddleBack since 2010. I began riding in the beginner camp and recently showed jumping in the 2'3 hunters winning year end ribbons. Showing with everyone at the barn is always a blast; we make it a great time! Ashley and the other instructors are great trainers, incredible teachers, and will do anything they can to help you.

Beginner to advanced, child to adult, whether pleasure or showing competitively, SaddleBack's instructors have the experience and knowledge to help riders reach their top potential as a successful rider. For those without a horse, a great selection of experienced, safe school horses are available for lessons, partial leases, and showing.

We are happy you are joining us for lessons! Our goal is to provide you with a positive, safe and fun learning experience from our highly qualified trainers, staff and horses. SaddleBack provides ASTM/SEI certified helmets, tack, safe lesson horses and professional riding instruction. We can assist you with places to purchase paddock boots for riders to buy for around $35 if interested in purchasing before their first few lessons.
Partial Horse Leases

SaddleBack Equestrian school horses are available for Partial Lease. Leasing is recommended for those considering buying a horse or for those just wanting additional time with horses outside of lessons without the expense of owning their own horse. SaddleBack pays all horse expenses including board, care, farrier/shoeing and vet work.
Camps/Events

SaddleBack Equestrian's summer camps are for ages 7 & up with emphasis on safe horsemanship, sportsmanship, and showmanship. Campers ride in daily lessons on one of SaddleBack's safe and experienced school horse. They also get a realistic introduction into the daily routine of caring for horses, horse-mounted games, a fun horse show, and education materials including their own camp notebook.
