Gary Banser started Triangle Radiator in 1966 as a one man facility and has been at the same location for over 40 years. Bryan Banser is not only ASE certified, but also graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelors Degree in Science. We are always looking to add to our team of professionals.

Triangle Auto Repair & Service started out as a one-man operation in 1966! The original location was a small triangle piece of property at 3700 W. Irving Park Road. One of the first neighbor's that came to have his car repaired was "Joe". Joe lived in the first two flat directly across from 3700 Irving Park Road.

My Cadillac SRX stalled out on the express lanes to Milwaukee heading to Northbrook for Christmas. Called IDOT who towed me to Foster accident lot. Then had to find a close by honest repair shop, after searching Yelp, chose Triangle Auto Repair and Paul and his staff diagnosed a faulty starter and had it R & R and had me back on the road in 36 hrs later. Amazing service. I had my vehicle towed to Triangle after hours when my recently purchased vehicle broke down. I contacted them when they opened to let them know the situation and why my car was sitting in their parking lot. I spoke with Paul and he was awesome, gave me no hassle when I said I wanted to try and sort things out with the dealership before having anyone look at the car. When I finally did request a quote I got it quickly. I have a few friends that are very into working on cars and when I asked them if I was quoted a fair price all of them concluded I was getting a very fair and reasonable

This is my second time bringing my car to Triangle Auto Service and it has been just as great of an experience as the first time I brought my car there. This is family owned business and they genuinely care about their clients. They are very honest and always go out of their way to help. Cannot say enough nice things about this place! Everyone was so nice and they were very quick. I needed major major service done to my heater that involved taking my entire dashboard apart. They were significantly cheaper than anywhere else was able to quote me, they didn't try and add on anything I didn't need, tried multiple more affordable options first, and still managed to get my car back to me within 2 days. I highly recommend! They even sent me a Christmas card!

I called about half a dozen places to try to get my blend door actuator switch repaired and no one would take it, until I finally reached Triangle Auto Service. They were incredibly knowledgable, patient and helpful, quoted me a decent price--and stuck to it! In addition they helped me out with dropping off and picking up the car over a holiday weekend with a snowstorm. I totally recommend this place.

There is a lot to say that is good about triangle. I've been getting regular service and tune ups at triangle for at least 5 years. When talking to Paul and Bryan you can tell that they are knowledgeable and care about keeping regular customers. I have told friends that they are kind of like the uncle/neighbor/friend that knows a lot about vehicles and are willing to help you out. I got a new car about a year ago and they informed me honestly about repair costs for my old car which was very helpful in making the decision to get a new one. In the past they have also just checked over my car

We've been dealing with THDR for years. Every time that our equipment has gone down they have been able to help us out. We've had tank trouble, and it was returned quickly and at a fair price. Our big problem was a diesel radiator on our excavator and they really helped us out of a jam. Highly suggest these guys for heavy duty repairs.

I highly recommend this shop! I am very apprehensive when it comes to getting my car fixed at a new place. My car was towed here after it died, and we didn't know what was wrong with it. Paul was great. He called me after they looked at it and gave me a detailed run down of the issues and things which needed to be fixed. He went over the estimates, and gave me the worst case cost if more than what was visible needed to be fixed. He made it clear nothing would be done or charged without a discussion. He called several times with updates, made very solid recommendations, and not all the things

I called from the Volkswagon dealership because they were trying to charge me $230 to get a fuel system cleaning. I looked at saw other chains offering it for $90 so I thought I should shop around. The guy who answered was so nice, he told me that it wasn't really necessary and I should decline. He went on to explain that if you buy good gas it has cleansers in it that will help keep things clean. I couldn't believe how helpful and generous he was with his time. So kind, If I ever decide I do need service I would feel 100% confident going here and knowing I wasn't getting screwed

These guys are THE BEST. I don't know how many times they took a look at my piece of crap car for no charge. They're that kind of family-oriented place. They will NEVER overcharge you. They diagnose the the issue and then give you a ballpark quote and you go from there. Super honest! Can't recommend enough!

Triangle is one of the best mechanics shops and a hidden gem in this city. They go out of there way to help people and are super honest. The key in our car would it turn and Brian came over two blocks away and tried to fix it onsite, then when I brought it I they gave me wonderful advise. Even though the job was something a dealer had to recode they never once did they try to steer me into a situation they couldn't handle. Paul helped me figure out what to do, and was very professional. He even called me back about a problem he noticed . I am a customer for life!!

For their U-Haul Truck Rental:
We reserved via u-haul online for a 9am pick-up on a Tuesday. We were late! They called US to confirm if we were still renting it and we said yes, but within the next hour & they were fine with it. We got there and while there were other customers in line for auto repair section, the woman helped us immediately for the u-haul rental. All were very nice & courteous, we had a pleasant experience renting with them. Wish they had a bigger truck option, but we did what we could with what we had. Rental process was swift, we moved our items for the day & returned

I'm a pretty handy guy and I've been tinkering with cars for a long time. I usually have a pretty good idea what's wrong when something breaks. I don't always have the time or energy to fix what's broken so I take it in. I can usually tell when someone is trying to sell me stuff I don't need and Triangle has never pulled that nonsense. Today they actually told me not to fix something I thought was broken
