Services
Roll Handling
Schlumpf designs standard and custom roll handling solutions including hoist-based systems, lift and turn equipment, and transport carts. These systems enhance safety and productivity in manufacturing environments by automating material movement. Our solutions serve converting, packaging, and production industries with durable, ergonomic equipment.
Shaft Handling
Our portable hydraulic and electric shaft handling machines safely manage heavy shafts, reel spools, and core plugs. Designed for portability and precision, these tools streamline insertion, extraction, and transport processes in industrial settings. Applications include converting, automotive, and paper manufacturing operations requiring high-efficiency material handling.
Core Plug Handling
Specialized core plug handlers automate insertion, removal, and transport of core plugs in tissue production facilities. These systems reduce manual labor risks while maintaining operational continuity. The equipment integrates seamlessly with existing production lines to optimize throughput and worker safety.
Unwind and Rewind Stands
Custom-engineered unwind and rewind stands deliver high-performance capabilities for web converting applications. Available in pedestal, cantilevered, and floor pick-up configurations, these systems ensure consistent tension control and reliable operation in high-speed production environments.
Core Chucks
Heavy-duty core chucks provide precision grip for roll processing applications. The expanding chuck system maintains web tension stability in shaftless unwinding/rewinding operations. Designed for high-speed, high-tension environments, these chucks offer dimensional compatibility for retrofit and rebuild projects.

This is a small material handling company. They are clever, efficient, and make high quality products. The work environment appears friendly and easy going. Everyone that I met was nice and friendly. Actually, they are cool... Check their web site out and buy from them as they buy from us... Just kidding...
