Jaron Horrocks is a geek at heart, but he's a fun, efficient, highly organized geek, and we like him for it. Hailing from New Hampshire, Jaron is a designer turned photographer, and currently owns and operates Saans Photography Studio. He really loves teaching and has toured the country several times over conducting seminars and instructing other photographers.
Even though he may spend a slightly unhealthy amount of time in front of his computer, Jaron loves getting out, exploring, playing sports (he's ridiculously good at soccer), and cycling around town. Overall, we'd say that Jaron just enjoys living life. Angelina Giles is from the beautiful Aotearoa (New Zealand): land of the long white cloud, rugby, flight of the concords and yes, Lord of the Rings!

Gallery & Studio

Each month we feature different photographic artists from the local community as well as worldwide. The exhibit revolves around the Salt Lake City Gallery Stroll, which takes place on the third Friday of each month. Many galleries are involved, and it is great way to spend an evening appreciating a variety of talent.
What to expect

We normally meet at our studio first. This is a great place to take a few images, plan the outfits and keep all of your belongings together in a safe place. Within a mile of our downtown location, you have the choice of urban style, park and nature shots, and a whole array of other venues. Have a think about what appeals to you and let us know.
What to Wear
Report
Pick your colors based on where the images will be displayed. For some people, this doesn't make a difference. But for others, if they plan to hang the prints in a room with a dominant color, then your clothing should compliment rather than clash. Individual skin tones and hair color also should be considered.

My mom absolutely loved the pictures. She was in tears when we showed them to her, and she watched the animoto thing about four times in a row.
