Our families have a second home safely tucked away on 80 acres in the heart of northeast Tallahassee. Holy Comforter Episcopal School believes that each child is a unique creation of God. Our mission is to nourish the spirit, challenge the mind, and strengthen the body in a Christian environment, encouraging each child to achieve his or her maximum potential as a contributing member of society.

Due to safety protocols this year, on-campus events are limited to students and teachers. Please feel free to schedule a video chat/zoom/phone call on the Virtual Admissions Center.

Admissions
Report
A Holy Comforter School education is not measured simply by a diploma but by an educational experience that prepares our graduates to thrive no matter the path they choose in life. As creative problem solvers, team players, clear communicators, and lifelong learners with strong moral character, our students leave ready to tackle high school and beyond to make a difference.
Why Holy Comforter
Report
I have come to realize the greatness of a journey can be determined by the sadness you feel when that journey is over. Perhaps what I am most thankful to HCES for, is giving me the opportunity to enjoy these years with my children. Having such complete confidence in HCES, I do not worry about my children's future.

Why PK-8th
Report
At Holy Comforter, we value being a school that ends in 8th grade. Being a pre-teen and young teenager is difficult, and middle school students often feel stuck between childhood and adolescence. By allowing our middle school students to lead within our school, while still giving them the time to play, we find that our children are free to remain younger a bit longer, while they develop into mature young leaders.
