A graduate in Design from UC Davis and a 23-year career as an interior designer, Peni brought her artistic bend to her grooming business. Professionally trained at the NY School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan, New York, Peni started her grooming career on the Upper East Side before returning to her hometown of Sacramento.
Peni and Pet Stylista support many local pet rescues and charities. Peni has a long time tradition of dedication to rescue. While working in the Middle East for six years, she spent most of her free time with a small grassroots animal rescue group where she discovered her love of dogs and cats. Through rescue, fostering, boarding and adopting, Peni learned much about pets.
