Hop River Brewing Company was founded on the idea of using these four basic ingredients to create unique varieties of local craft beer. Ben and Paris met over a beer at a local downtown staple. Both quickly recognized their common dream of opening a brewery. With Ben living in DC and Paris being a Ft. Wayne native, they continued discussing their dreams through a long distance friendship. After months of collaboration and Ben's move to Ft. Wayne, Hop River Brewing Company was born.

With at least 10 local house beers and 2 local guest taps, we offer our brewery's finest. Anything from an IPA to a Stout to a Wit, we have just what you desire and something that might become your new favorite. Enjoy a pint or create your own flight! For the non-beer loving fan, we have local hard cider, mead, variety of local wines, and house made sodas.

Reservations are preferred for our taproom during peak times. For parties over six people, please make separate reservations under the same name, so we can seat your tables near each other. Our patio is pet-friendly. Please use the entrance off of 4th St. and enter the brewery through the patio door.

Hop River is a 15-barrel production micro-brewery and taproom in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, just north of the Riverfront development area. Our brewery creates high quality craft beer in an authentic brewery taproom atmosphere and engages with its customers outside of the brewery through local production.
