For example, we can plan how to approach sensitive family issues or consider a needed career change.

Whether you are 16 or 80 years of age, we can develop a future plan that can lead to greater contentment and happiness. The therapeutic approach I will use for you will be tailored to your particular needs and situation. I frequently utilize techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Meditation, Family, Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Humanistic modalities.

First, I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, such as hospitals, schools, college, and addiction treatment centers. That is, you will articulate the reasons you are pursuing therapy and your goals for therapy. Unlike using medication for psychological problems, psychotherapy requires an earnest effort on the part of the client to think before each session about what issues/goals need to be pursued.
