American Gymnastics Club is San Francisco's finest gymnastics club, offering a comprehensive blend of recreational and competitive instruction. Classes are available at all levels, from beginning to competitive. We maintain a student-teacher ratio of 8 to 1 or fewer to facilitate individualized training.
Our expert staff has extensive experience in teaching, as well as competition, thus each instructor brings his or her own first-hand knowledge and background into each session. As an introduction to gymnastics, AGC offers a range of special motor skills classes with a clear emphasis on the joy of movement. The preschool program is designed to encourage whole body exercise, including development in strength, flexibility, and coordination. Classes are structured, but not rigid.

Level 1-4 CO-ED Program

Level 1: This is an introduction to gymnastics. We will introduce the basic skills and body shapes on each individual apparatus, vault, bars, beam, floor ex, trampoline, tumble track and rings. As the student masters the level one requirements, they can progress to the level 2 class. Level 1 & 2: This is a continuation of introductory gymnastics skills on each individual apparatus: vault, bars, beam, floor ex, trampoline, tumble track and rings.
