Trainer/Instructor - B.S. Equine Science - Vanessa is a professional/certified riding instructor. She has 25 years experience teaching, training, showing, rehabilitating and breeding horses. Vanessa graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Equine Science in 2002 and has since dedicated her time to making "Lucky Star Equine" a dream come true!
Growing up in Florida, Vanessa trained hunter jumpers and western pleasure horses. Since moving to Colorado, she has expanded her training to rehabilitating rescues, reining, ranch versatility and ranch sorting- and has found her true passion! In addition to the daily barn and herd health and care management; Vanessa instructs students of all ages, trains horses, coaches Lucky Star Equine's Horse Show Team and offers horsemanship clinics.

Lucky Star Equine is Very Proud of our Horse Show Team! In addition to their weekly riding lessons, our show team practices together on a regular basis, year round. Team practices are geared towards focusing on the horsemanship, patterns, techniques and show strategy that the riders will be challenged with in the show ring.

Lucky Star Equine provides a safe, friendly atmosphere for me to develop riding skills at my maturing age.
