Since September 2018, Side Door Deli has brought authentic New York-style deli cuisine to St. Petersburg, Florida. Our menu features home-style breakfast, hot and cold deli sandwiches, freshly made salads, burgers, and specialty platters crafted with traditional techniques. We offer both indoor and outdoor seating in a welcoming environment, with convenient takeout and local delivery options available. Our team of experienced deli professionals takes pride in serving high-quality, flavorful meals made from fresh ingredients daily. From classic Reuben sandwiches to homemade corned beef hash and New York cheesecake, we deliver a true taste of New York.We maintain flexible hours including extended breakfast service on weekends and provide catering for special occasions with advance notice. Our location in the historic West Wittner Building offers easy access via Central Avenue or 60th Street. We accept credit card payments with a small fee for transactions under $10 and maintain strict food safety standards. Over 20 premium deli sandwiches featuring pastrami, corned beef, turkey, and roast beef. Includes classic combinations like Reuben, Cuban, and Club sandwiches. Available on multiple bread options with choice of sides.
Catering
Custom catering for events with advanced notice. Offers party trays, sandwich platters, and fresh salads. Available for pickup only with options for both hot and cold menu items to accommodate various group sizes.
Local Delivery
Delivery service within local area with $1.50 fee for orders under $15. Available during regular business hours. Combines dine-in quality with convenient delivery of sandwiches, salads, and hot entrees.

What are your current operating hours?
We're open Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm, Saturday 7:00am-1:00pm. Closed Sundays. Breakfast service runs until 11:00am Mon-Thurs & Saturday, 10:30am on Fridays.
Do you offer catering services for events?
Yes, we provide catering for all occasions with advance notice. We offer both hot and cold options including sandwich trays, fresh salads, and party platters.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and credit cards. A $1.00 fee applies to all credit card transactions under $10.00. No surcharge for cash payments.
Are there vegetarian options available?
Yes, we offer vegetarian omelets, falafel platters, and multiple salad options. Many sandwiches can be customized with vegetarian ingredients upon request.

Just noticed this deli driving by. Ordered corned beef reuben & matzo ball soup.. I was totally impressed with friendly service, & food was delicious!!!This is going to become a regular place for my NY comfort food. Can't wait to have falafel & potato knish, next time!

Stopped by today for lunch with my mom. I was really hankering for some matzah ball soup, and enjoyed the bowl at the Side Door Deli. I also enjoyed the cheeseburger. My mom liked her tuna melt. The only thing we didn't think was good was the service. The food was good enough to make up for it. We'd definitely return.
